Apple are the masters of design. Like all good designers they often know what you need even if you are not able to express that desire correctly.

But more than that, Apple seem to have a strikingly acute vision of what most people do *not* need.

Take Flash as an example. Most people thought they needed Flash on the iPhone to be able to view YouTube video files. Not true. All they actually needed was YouTube to supply them with video files in a format that the iPhone could play.

It&#039;s this kind of clarity of thought that&#039;s going to serve Apple well over the next 5 years.</description>
