Couldn't agree more. Yet another "swaying factor" when I compared it with Nokia's "Download" service / Handango / other sources of S60 apps. Being told when one of my (many) apps has an update ready just by launching an application is so customer friendly. (And like you, I find the purchasing too easy. The "oh it's only a couple of quid" factor can soon add up to an iTunes bill of £50 pm.

One frustrating (though understandable) point is when you have apps over 10MB and no wifi nearby - you've been notified of the update but you can't have over Edge/GPRS. Aargh! The "there's an update and I want it now" feeling is so annoying ;)

Sorry Steve, we really meant to let you know before the release of Virtual Pool. I got rushed getting it out and forgot. Let me know what you think of the iPhone version.

Agreed! It is a stunning innovation. Just yesterday, I saw Guitarist for the bargain price of £1.79! I found it, bought it, installed it and was recording multiple guitar tracks within a few minutes. I don't know of any other platform where this is possible.

I currently have 217 apps... ^_^
