Perhaps Apple should indroduce default folders with names identical to the app store categories: Ex, games, utilities, music and so on and place them on the second page.

If no we can create our own.

Ex. holding the finger on a empty space on the screen will bring up a dialog box similar to the webclip one. You just type in the name of the folder and its placed on the desktop. To move icons in the folder just drag them in. To enter the folder, just tap on it. To exit, just press the home button.

For now I try to keep my pages up to 3. Above that and I get lost.

I’m up to 80 (installed) apps, with a few more deleted from the screen but residing in iTunes. A drag n drop folder system would be the icing on the cake. The simplicity of the iPhone’s interface is complicated by its simplicity (???!) However, I still think I can flick across 5 screens faster than I can navigate a similar number of folders on an S60 device.

What I tend to do is leave a slot free on each of the pages other than page 1, so that when I install a new app it makes it slightly easier to rearrange the screens afterwards. But a folder heirarchy would be a benefit.
