This (currently only 59p) provides a nice filter for new and “on sale” apps and helps manage the chaos that is better know as the App Store.

As well as providing details of new apps, it also provides screenshots, a nice tracking of the price the app has been sold at, you can “ban” sellers and also filter out certain categories. Thoroughly recommend it.

(My OCD tendencies re the App Store have now shifted to launching this app. Arrgh. No change then. :( )

I’ve only just recently made a concerted effort to stop myself from making impulse purchases, not because of particularly bad experiences but because of want to make the most of the excellent apps that I have already purchased.

What do we think, 30,000 apps by next May and 100,000 by May 2010?
