New rumours are suggesting that there might be two sizes of Apple tablet. Kind of relates to the two main size of paper in common use. In Europe, A4 and A5.

Interestingly, as I was thinking about this concept I had in mind high quality magazines and business related material rather than eBook’s as such. I imagined a scenario where Apple ran a Print Store where you could subscribe (paid or free) to any number of traditionally printed publications, whether that be Vogue magazine or just your firms internal Health and Safety guidelines.

I wonder if they will go for this. It seems like Apple have all the pieces in place, but even if they come up with a hell of a product, will people buy it? Issues with App Store approvals (especially for “adult” material), along with the recent Amazon Kindle Orwell nonsense, may put people off.

It’s unlikely to be cheap, but then again, it’s unlikely just to be an eBook reader…
