Collaring our very own Matt Radford, I pressed him to try the Nokia N97 mini, the latest touchscreen offering from the Finns, albeit with a QWERTY keyboard as well. Below are his video impressions after two weeks with the N97 mini. Happy watching and happy Christmas!

Very nice interview guys. I can certainly echo Matt’s thoughts on the strengths of each device.
I can certainly describe it as a bad hair day!
But it was fun playing with the N97 Mini. Given enough tweaking, it’d be a phone I’d be quite happy with. Nokia Multimedia Transfer has matured to the point that it’s very easy to make a Symbian phone play nicely with my Mac.
For me personally, I don’t see Apple giving in to complete multi-tasking in 2010. But then again that doesn’t bother me. My 3GS is plenty fast enough to switch between apps and the only music app I use is the iPod one, which multi-tasks just fine
Unfortunately, I think that my next phones going to be Android based, having been a Symbian fan, moving to an iPhone, I think that Android has what I need next…
